All Things Ocean,
All The Time
Explorer 62
When we first laid eyes on the Explorer 62, we asked Capt. Steve to come up with five things he liked about this distance cruiser. HIs only problem was narrowing it down to only five. There’s an awful lot to like about this yacht… a boatload in fact.
It’s refreshing when a builder thinks outside the box. Even more so when the design comes out so right that there’s just such a “wow” factor to the yacht. Such is the case with the Explorer 62. Take for example the salon. It’s glass enclosed so there are spectacular views all around without sacrificing any sidedeck walkaround capability. But, the starboard and aft walls can be “deconstructed” to open the room up to the aft deck making one large entertainment platform. This, where other’s simply open a door and drop down a window.
Then there’s the on deck rainfall shower to port, a waterfall sink to starboard, a galley that blends in with the operating station to keep the gatherings open… the list goes on and on. Below, owners can choose from a three or four stateroom layout. All with a full beam master.
